Software for Mac OS X
I got a new Garmin 60CSx with the altimeter and compass! I'm going to use it for driving, and bike riding, and maybe some geocaching!
I purchased the MapSource software, and the City Select with the Trip and Waypoint Manager. I was saddened to see that it is Windows-only software, so I had to install at work where I have an old PC. So far, I've only used it to load in maps on my Garmin.
BUT, I have heard that Garmin is going to release Mac OS X versions of their software by year's end!
Until then, does anyone know of any 3rd-party software that can connect a Garmin with a Mac?

Garmin delays Mac GPS support until end of 2006.
After announcing plans to support the Mac earlier this year, Garmin has pushed back their timeframe to the end of 2006. The company cites "unanticipated delays" as the cause.
Garmin makes Global Positioning System (GPS) hardware used in aviation, marine and automotive industries. Their products include devices that convert laptop and palmtop computers into street navigators, standalone GPS systems that feature preloaded maps and touchscreen displays, and more. They also make fitness-related hardware.
Garmin's first offering, scheduled for the end of 2006, will be a Tiger-compatible version of Training Center (http://www.garmin.com/products/trainingcenter/), which enables runners, hikers, bikers and other outdoor sports enthusiasts to plan, analyze and store data related to their workouts. The product works with Garmin's Forerunner and Edge products, and offers charts detailing heart rate, pace, speed, elevation, grade data based on time or distance.
"Also at that time, we will announce the expected completion date for Garmin's other hardware and software applications," said the company in a statement. "We thank the Mac community for their support, understanding and patience as we work through these unanticipated delays, and we look forward to providing Mac users with direct support for their Garmin products."
In January, 2006 Garmin announced plans to support the Mac with its like of GPS and mobile electronics devices -- the company had initially expected to release Training Center in the spring, with ubiquitous support to follow by the end of 2006.
